It amazes me how easy WordPress makes it to give a quick facelift to a site. Other blogging platforms are easy too (Tumblr, etc.) but I’m most familiar with WordPress, and there are a big variety of themes available. Last weekend, I updated our 11th floor views blog in about an hour, using a free theme that I found on WordPress.com. I was pretty happy with the results, nice theme, easy to customize with a bit of color and header image.
Today I happened to check it out on my iPhone, in Safari, and got a surprise.

The theme came with an iPhone specific version as well! If only creating a great experience for other sites on mobile devices were this easy.
This theme is called Bueno, available (free) from WooThemes.
A pedantic note: the iPhone-friendly version is a feature of WordPress.com, not theme-specific, and can be enabled on any WordPress.org blog (such as this one) through a plugin. So it really is so easy for all sites.
Thanks Joshua for letting me know. Just one more reason to love WordPress! I’m already an incredible fan anyway.
