How to get work done: tips from home renovation expert… Spoke with my sister last weekend about good ways to go about getting a couple of home renovations done on schedule, without unexpected costs. (She’s a pro in the business). Order it all up front and then have it ready for work to start. Sure makes sense, and is such a familiar challenge in my own work context: Line up everything (materials, answers, specifics, requirements) that people need to accomplish the task at hand. Then work progresses smoothly and costs everyone less in time, money and headaches. Plus much more chance it will produce the desired result.
